This 2021, MYOB Exo has revamped its interface with changes that improve both usability and design.
Its new aesthetic is more aligned with the look and feel of Exo Business and other MYOB desktop products such as MYOB Advanced.
MYOB Exo’s modern new look
The newly-designed features of Exo Business Core are for screens shared with other modules.
There are new icons mixed with old icons in select modules including the Stock Item Details and Contact in CRM screens.
Throughout the ERP system, screens now feature new fonts and new backgrounds and gradient colours.
Its new font is commonly used on Microsoft Windows and supports Unicode, and is also easier to read.
Scaling screen sizes is also improved because, in this new version of MYOB Exo, labels and fields will not overlap when scaled to 125% or 150% and select modules now support high DPI.
New Report Print Window
Printing Exo Business reports just got simpler with a new window divided into separate tabs for printing or for exporting the data you need.
New spelling checker
Minimise errors during data input with the Exo Business’ spelling checker. This feature applies to note, narrative, memo, and message fields within the system.
Cash Flow Reports
Gain a better perspective on your business with MYOB Exo’s new General Ledger reporting mechanism which supplements the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss sheet.
Through this feature, you can review historical cash flow information found in these reports as indicators of the amount, timing, and certainty of cash flowing in and out of the business.
Here you will find the totals of transactions for each GL classification along with opening cash, closing cash and cash movement totals for the periods.
This will provide helpful insights on future projections and associated budgeting.
Greater Control Over Automatic Period Locking at Month End
You now have more control over your period locking during the end of the month with the Auto-Lock Periods feature on the Exo Business Configurator.
Overdue Account Indicator
In the previous version, a red stripe at the top of the screen indicated whether there were overdue accounts within the system. This has been replaced with the status of the account in red text for more clarity.
There are plenty of other new enhancements, fixes, and features within MYOB Exo Business 2021.
